Tough to pull off that look in a pub/restaurant though.....if only for safety reasons!

So you won't show up in a pair of Vans then?

I don't think young/older ladies really care that much about shoes/boots. As long as you've made an effort.

It's great to meet a guy who puts in the effort as much as the ladies do. A recent meet did just that and the smell of his aftershave alone nearly had me jumping the table to get at him

I dress well enough, but the smart look has never been for me. Sure, I'll make an effort now and then when it's required, but I'm not really and suit/shirt and shoes kinda guy. I'm just not comfortable in them.

Smart casual is the limit of my comfort zone.

I generally could care less what a guy turns up in unless we are going out or to a party. The clothes don't be on long!

I think wear what your comfortable in. I'm comfortable in casual and that's what I wear.

I wouldn't expect a lady I was meeting to dress up in something she wasn't comfortable in to impress me.
