What's their fee? I've seen them in jervis, it didn't look that big, plus you're forgetting the climbing wall and indoor and outdoor tennis courts. I only play tennis here now because my membership at Fitzwilliam ended and its too far away  |

In fairness Jervis is tiny, or looks it anyway. Mine is out in Cherrywood and the fee is €170 a year. I suppose if you're including tennis, that would make a difference but that has nothing to do with the gym in my eyes. |

170 a year?? That's a bit too cheap. There's a catch somewhere lol. WW is 840 a year plus 500 membership.. I know.. Rip off but it keeps the young trouble makers out of the gym which is what you want too, and it's never too busy so you have loads of space. |

Am a member and yes has all the bells and whistles (sauna, climbing walls, Gravity classes, etc) and that's really what you pay extra for. All well and good having all the extras but question is do you need all that??  A gym with just the basic machines will get you as toned or buffed up providing you show up there regularly. Arnie didn't have access to Zumba classes and he did okay for himself  |

It's a new American idea, low impact, high intensity. It has some sort of glide board that I'm guessing helps core muscles. |

Anyone used the gym in Gormanstown near Stamullen? Going to have a look at it tonight as I heard they've updated the swimming pool and gym. Only a €5 a go/€35 per month! |
