Just out of curiosity, a number of ladies I sent mail to over the weekend, read them and then marked them unread. I only noticed because I was looking through my sent mails and some were white and then next time I looked, had gone back to yellow. I appreciate that the ladies get hundreds of mails and can't read or reply to them all. Is it a new craze or what is the reasoning behind it? |

Couple of reasons straight off...
1 they want to come back to you so Mark it to be read again
Or
2 if marked unread and you try send another message fab advises that you have one already sent
This you are less likely to be a pest |

Maybe so, thank you.

"You can waste a lifetime worrying about other people's motivations."
Not worried, was just curious. I'm here looking for something in particular and I don't mail everyone and I had four read and then unread over the weekend and was just curious. |

This, and that I think in some cases the sender believes they have one foot in the bed if they see that their email has been read, it's a response from the receiver regardless of the fact that an actaul reply wasn't forthcoming. Then the inevitable deluge will follow.
