Who will win... I would put a bet on it that Mayo will win... I think that dubs will win the first half and mayo will make every effort to go forward the second half, with the dubs doing much defence as possible.. |

The heart says Mayo, cause I'd always back the underdog. Head says Dublin all day long. Mayo don't have the mental game, the leadership required to see it out. Dublin showed against Kerry they have that winning mentality in spades! |

I am a massive gaa fan and a massive dubs man. Mayo have got to an all ireland final without playing a division 1 team. Beaten by galway in connacht. If mayo win today (the plan was to come though back door and play more games) well kildare put it up to them in castlebar, Tyrone should have beat them in Croke park. If sean kavanagh was on the pitch for 70 mins it would be a different story altogether today. Tipp ran out of stream. Dublin beat Donegal. And Kerry second best team in country. Dublin are going to win by at least 10 points today. Mayo should only be for sandwiches. Up the dubs |

the only way mayo will win anything is if they drop the losers mentality they have..I saw an interview last week with the mayo gk..he said stephen cluxton was the best keeper in the country..now i dont think its mind games that fella is playing..he genuinely believes that mayo are 2nd best team..for that reason I say they'll lose...besides history tells us that shite in a bucket Mayo are born to lose |

Mayo for Sam today...every team has one good game in them..and mayo are due one...so if they are going well...and get over...match nerves....and first handling of the ball is vital...mayo can settle down and play good football...and take their scores.....mayo can outplay Dublin...but it will be close.... |

Heading into croke park now .
dubs to win confortable enough .hope Lee keegan plays the game the way it should be played and not try to get people sent off.
think the difference between mayo this year and other years is armagh man. McEntee..his typical ulster tactics are beginning to show through .
cream always comes to the top. Coybib. |

"What's a typical ulster tactic? The dubs well capable of the dirty side of things too - only a year ago prime example of it
Anyway, dubs should be winning this by 7 at minimum "
.
Hope they are winning it by 7, I've to go out this evening! |

He beat Connolly hands down. Maybe it takes a bigger thug to put a lesser thug in his place or maybe he's just better player. |

Dublin lucky to get a draw, both sides were poor, conditions no excuse as last year was wetter.
Dublin will need to improve certainly as mayo won't be as bad.
Hopefully history repeats itself like last years semi.
Roll on Oct 1st.
Let the dub haters see a draw as their victory, small mentality |

I guess it's the first final in 65 years that mayo didn't lose.
The problem is that people in mayo will see that as some small victory and the team may fall for it.
Hard to think that Dublin will be as bad next day

To be fair, I think it is a little victory, considering the season we've had.
Hopefully they keep the heads down for the next two weeks and work hard.

No one in Mayo sees it as a victory, a moral victory is no good to this group of players, its a job half done. This game strengthens their belief , they know what they need to do to beat this Dublin side, abf they know they were the better team today!! Mayo will come into the replay more focused and with more belief!! |

yea dublin...looked seriously weak...from a scoring point of view...31...minutes before a score...cluxton....afraid to kick the ball long...shows that dublin midfield are weak.....and aidan o shea...never really got going.....but the dubs are afraid...that if he plays a stormer...mayo will win the replay... |

They didn't lose in 96 either but lost the replay.
Hopefully they keep it together this time. |

It's clear that they don't fear Dublin. I did think they got caught up in the secondary stuff and it affected their concentration at times, Aidan needs to keep his head or he'll see the line.
They're well capable of doing it, it just needs doing....a bit like galway hurling |

Holy god, Dublin didn't turn up and Mayo still failed to win. What a serious let off for the Dubs and what a horrendous lost opportunity for Mayo. Mayo will be hoping that Dublin are as bad again the next day but that would be amazing if it happened. |

Think mayo left it behind them. Don't think Dublin will ever play as bad again. If Dublin get a dry day for the replay I think think they should win it. John small for man of the match |

"Think mayo left it behind them. Don't think Dublin will ever play as bad again. If Dublin get a dry day for the replay I think think they should win it. John small for man of the match " ....a team is only as good as the opposition allow them to be.... who knows what will happen in the replay. But mayo certainly psyched Dublin out of the game today. 31 minutes before Dean rock kicked over a 13 metre free

It was an excellent and exciting game but I think Dublin let there guard down to much.but I think we learned a good lesson today. I have every confidence in dublin to win next time.on the pitch and maybe the boxing ring as well |
