Bell bottoms I would have thought were more 70's though they made a brief resurgence in very late 80's when everything went baggy with the Madchester scene. Though anything before 1983 is a bit fuzzy tbh! |

My memories sort of start around the ska era, stay press trousers etc, which I think is about 83 could well have been bell bottoms before that, but I only really have photos of my parents as a reference to that. |

High waisted bell bottom trousers with those awful burgundy leather jackets or the tan suede ones.... Saturday night fever fashion continued into the early 80s before Dynasty and Dallas type fashion took over..
I thought i looked amazeballs in my big shoulder pads and huge back combed hair  |
