Admin looking for volunteers to verify new photos

Might sound stupid in saying this but here goes

Admin want volunteers to help out in verifications of new photos

What's the vetting procedure should we not be told

I know men,women and couples who have reported nuisance or aggressive profiles on here and admin didn't do much about it those nuisance and arrogant profiles are still active

Can those profiles now become verification volunteers and see photos that may have been uploaded by profiles who blocked them

Don't see what difference that makes really. Moderators are required to be unbiased. If a photo is fake it's fake, regardless of whether it's posted by your best friend or your worst enemy.

Yes unbiased I accept that

But if I've been left with no choice but to report an abusive profile to admin

What's stopping that person becoming a mod and then maybe getting to see my photos even though I reported them

There are afew rules including being meet and photo verified and have to be on the site over 18 months

I've seen three different profiles of a person who's all of the above and is arrogant and threatening to talk in vanilla life about people who are on here

Naturally they reported and blocked that person

But if that person volunteers to be a mod then what privacy have their victim's got

If the people that person upset and threatened now upload knew photos their photos could be seen by the abuser

Surly that's a privacy breach

Yes they are all of the above all their profiles meet those minor little requirements

At the very least nobody should be allowed to be a mod of they have ever had their profile reported

Is that the case I don't know

Can't trust admin when they have been given proof of abuse and they still allow that profile to be a member

If a profile has - proven - reports against them - I'd say Yes, they should be barred from being a Mod. However Admin will make an informed choice for the Site's best interest. I doubt they'd want a known troublemaker on the team.

I would hope that's the case yes

But when they still allow the said trouble maker be a member and keep the profiles that were reported by a few different people it's hard to put Faith in them barring them from volunteering

I would have thought admin could contact well verified and well trusted people to become volunteers rather than publicly ask everyone

Seriously some people would need to get over themselves ! This site has thousands of new pics uploaded every day the idea that anyone would give a rats ass for individual members photos is pure narcissism ! Pic mods are just that moderators who decide if an image uploaded meets the criteria that's the scope of the job .

Admin take a lot of things into account before appointing new mods
