"Yea get rid of apple. The new Samsungs coming out are miles ahead of the iPhone 7 according to all the tech experts "
I think they have stopped selling them because the battery in some have exploded or went on fire. |

"Samsung seems to be the way ,, anyone know much about the htc's " had an iPhone and never again. Htcs are a great phone . Have mine a few years now and no problem. Tends to get very hot because of metal back but has never affected the performance.

All depends on budget.
If money no object, then Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge. Don't get S6 as you can't expand the memory.
If £300 budget, the OnePlus 3 is for you.
If budget is less, then has to be Moto G4. Do not get conned into Moto G4 Play. If you are near NI, then Carphone Warehouse have just dropped price on G4 to £130 but order to nearest to you and drive when it's there as it's out of stock across NI. Or try Amazon. They deliver free to Ireland if it's over £25 and fulfilled by Amazon.
Or, if you have patience and about £350, the new Moto Z Play is out in a few weeks and the functionality and add ons are WOW!
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have further questions.

Yes, I do have € symbol but I recall the £ prices better. |

Never agreed with the way apple wants you to do everything through iTunes.
Can't even take anything off your device unless you go through there.
Android is so much better and a lot easier to use then apple.
Never bought into the apple brand and never will. |

Without trying to slag off Apple, though I'm gritting my teeth hear and biting my tongue, I have fixed several PC issues for friends with one simple trick. Removed iTunes and all worked ok after that. Just saying. |

Yes according to latest news. Hope it continues and they may revert back to the older batteries and a way of replacing batteries. One reason why I just bought another one of the last few new Note 2 left before they disappear even though my current one is over almost 4 years old and doing everything I'd ever need to do...It is my office as I travel alot and they're bulletproof...upgrade easily with 64G of microsd card. Mine currently has 96gb. |

"One Plus 3 is a great phone for the money"
Agreed with this. Nexus phones are generally great too and get pushed all the updates first. Nexus 5 battery wasn't great, but later versions have improved. You could be on the latest version of android months, and maybe years before Samsung, etc... Push it through. |

I was recommended a HTC mini 1, as my first smart phone by a friend who works for a big mobile company in UK,he said that the most reliable & trouble free phone to get was my HTC ,that was over 2 years ago & never had any trouble with it. |

Yep... apparently they are replacing all of the batteries which they fitted from their own factory which is in 70 % of all the S7 sold. The other 30% were from a Chinese supplier and no faults found with any of those. This will hit the Note 7 sales big time as they also use the same faulty battery. Good news is that all are being recalled for battery change. |

Tis true only real major difference S6 to S7 is the additional storage... but that depends on how much you store on your phone. S6 should drop in price ... a lot compared with S7... |

Only the ones with their own battery inside. ..the 30 % with the Chinese battery supply have shown no faults. |
