In fairness it does happen though not as often as we should wish. I've met couples, groups and single women and I've (we've) had a lot of adventures. This under the double curse of single male and the age bracket. Bring it on !!

Are you mailing profiles that you fit their specific requirements and vice versa, or are you just sending random mails and hoping for a reply?

That won't work.
Read profiles, read people's preferences, read them again and if you think you fit the bill, then try mailing.
Make a little effort with your mails and have a bucket load of patience. There's tonnes of single guys on here.

Never adapt the scattergun approach; compatibility is perhaps the biggest instigator of meets and not everyone will be compatible with you nor you with them.
It's not as simple as say, sending 50 messages as opposed to 5 means you'll get more replies.
You've met already, so you've some idea how to go about it  . Reading your profile, if you are meeting with a friend perhaps try a couples profile?
Be patient, be discerning and look for profiles that perhaps peak a common interest. There's no expiry date on your profile so don't get hung up on having to meet people, just take things as they come and enjoy the craic on here |

A good profile with what you really look like and what your looking for.
Be polite.
Ask to go to some M&Gs (let the dog see the rabbit).

Read lots of the other 'how do I get a meet' threads on the Forum - this advice has been dished out about a thousand times and year. There is a search facility to check previous forum threads - and you could find them in the Forum archive too. |

All good advice, thanks for taking the time to reply.
There was a buddy looking to dip her toes but she's since chickened out so I'm flying solo.
I've plenty of good pics on private so I'll be keeping them there.
Something will come up but a M&g will be on the cards now
