If grey lived in a caravan it would be an episode of criminal minds.... He was a controlling bastard who happened to be good looking and extremely rich.
It was poorly written |

I know its just a film but I heard so many women saying they want a man like Grey. I only watched the movie last night and I could feel the pain Anna's heart would have felt for loving such a coward man. |

How a coward?"
A person who is afraid to take the reaponsibility of a woman/family is a coward in my opinion. And we could clearly see that he was in love with her too (taking her for a ride in helicopter, taking her to dinner with family and even he said once to a guy that she was his gf), but wasn't brave and bold enough to admit that. |

He's a damaged man who can't show any affection. She's a dope who has an inner goddess. He likes dirty sex and apparently she does too. And a lot of women like reading about it.
Lets face it, what woman wouldn't like a hot young billionaire with a big dick wanting to get into their knickers and spend loads of money on them. That's it really.
There's much better stories out there. |

I've read loads of books it's a hobby of mine fact, fiction and everyone loves a bit of murder and romance...
Emily Brontë being my favourite author but loving everything from Archer to Jodi Picoult!!
I read the 50 shades books I enjoyed them...
People saying they or children in primary school would write better but I don't see primary school children having made millions of pounds on a book as of yet...
It's fantasy...
Everyone loves to escape it once and awhile...

Did anybody watch the movie without laughing? I thought it was hilarious.
Couldn't get past the first book so I'm dying to see the next movie instalment for the craic.
Loved the influx of Mr Christian Greys on various sex/swing websites over night and every man became a Dom wannabe. |

"I enjoyed reading the books even if they were badly written. As for the movie it was the biggest load of crap ever "
I read the books quite a few yea4s ago before they were popular and I really enjoyed them but my taste for erotica has moved on since then. I'm afraid to watch the movie in case it ruins what I have in my head from the first time I read them |

He's alright but it should have been Henry Cavill. Well in my head it's him. But he's supposed to be playing Gideon Cross so I may get to see him naked yet |

Never seen it, I'll have to give it a watch
What's that one with Maggie Gyllenhall? The Secretary is it? I thought that was very odd |

'Secretary'
From which the 'author' of 50 Shades took the characters name. Which sort of ruins Secretary when you watch it and she mentions his name.
Its a fun fantasy movie but more quirky than insightful. The Duke of Burgundy is set in a stranger world (an oxford university college with no men) but shows the dynamic, tension, affection and limits of BDSM more realisticaly. |
