Great game, Dublin definitely the better team but should have lost. The referee bailed them out big time. Kerry very flattered by two handy goals in the first half. Cant argue with 22 scores to 16 though. |

Even when Dublin were 5 points down they were the superior team. The ref was definitely not on the side of Dublin, look at the replay. Both Kerry goals were Dublin faults I'll openly admit. But I'll also say that the cream always rises to the top |

Best game of football in years .how come all the best games involves Dublin and kerry ...????
Answer .because they concentrate on playing the game and not trying to stop opposition from playing

Consistent fouling by Kerry in the first half in particular. If the ref implemented the black card rule Kerry would have lost three players. |

Dublin played the better football and both teams were hitting hard but b4 Dublin got the sec winning point kerry player running tru on goals Dublin player took him out of it no free. Cud have been the leveling point and a draw, watch it back.
Copper should have been yellow carded or even Red card for pushing sullivan into the goal posts. Lucky he wasn't seriously hurt. Mayo for Sam. |

Kildareman. Were you still thinking of the minor match .typical people see what they want to see .what about omahonys full frontal attack on philly mcmahon..no free there .
and would dean rock have pointed it .??....I very much think he would. Get over it best team won

Totally agree. Personally I think the ref did a good job. He contributed to a free flowing game. There were some very hard hits by both teams which should have been frees but he wasn't biased to either side. In the end the better side one. Cracking game. As a Dub I like Mayo's style of football, like Dublin and Kerry they actually want to play the game. There levels of fitness are up there with Dublins so it should be a great game. Tickets anyone??? |
