Do people actually appreciate people having face pics on their profile?
Since I've had mine on display I haven't noticed any different in the number of people contacting me at all. Should I just take them down? What do people actually want to see? |

Basically I'm getting the impression that loads of Women demand face pics in advance before they even talk to you, but don't have one of their own. They also won't send one until you've been talking for a while.
It's blatantly not fair but it is the way things are. With a 20 to 1 ratio guys to girls they can be as fussy and choosy as the want cos they've got all the control. |

You dont "have" to do anything you don't want to. put up whatever pics you want, for your own reasons. it's your profile, your personal life and ultimately your decision. but in my opinion, it looks like you put up face pics in an effort to seek some form of validation and when that hasn't been forthcoming then you revert to popular opinion.
be your own man, if you want face pics on your profile, then own it. but if you're expecting praise and a round of applause for it you'll be waiting..... |

Sometimes I'll send a message without a pic and explain that it's not how I roll, and I usually get a positive reply, and sometimes it's ignored.

I prefer to skype just because of experiences with fake profiles on here.
I will ignore a couple who ask me for a face pic, yet only have 1 pic or even none on their profiles.
I expect a bit of common sense when I've several pics up and they have one that they would at least show me something else before wanting my face aswell.
