Kilkenny |
Kilkenny has quite a few members on Fab.. (And before I get the negative feedback, I do realise it's a small place).
But we are on this to make friends and enjoy our lives to the fullest.. And I have noticed that other areas are more involved and the social side (most important) is more active, and members mingle more openly on the site.
Any views or has it become more clicky in all other areas aswell?
(Oops!! Hope this opens a sensible discussion)

The point being that where is the point of Fab within Kilkenny. Talking to friends in Wexford and Waterford and I have so much more connection with people from outside the county than within.
Maybe it's because I can't stand Kilkenny Hurling |

Kilkenny, but Dublin is more fun |
While it's not the smallest town around, it's just very gossippy and nearly everyone knows everyone else. At least with all the tourists about, there's plenty of new strangers to complain about. |

""Snobbery" has anyone else been defined by their occupation?
Two have asked about car type!! FFS. That defines 3 of the KK members, but fortunately not all are that particular. "
Perhaps it's their way of finding out if they might know you with it being a small community? |

Sure maybe they're just interested in getting a new car and trying to get reviews from real people. |

Unless dogging was being arranged if I was asked what kind of car I drove I'd answer with "what's that got to do with it?" |

Am totally real.
But just wondering if anyone else has been asked silly questions within their own areas, and find that they are to close for comfort. BTW am just as close to Waterford as I am from Kilkenny.
And I do hope Tipperary beat them on Kilkennys annual day out |

I get asked what the mushrooms or like.. or occasionally someone misreads and ask about chocolate. I'd say these are more stupid questions than what kind of car you have. Maybe they're just making conversation. |
