Lights on..

Be proud of your bodies.

And sure good underwear covers it all up if you dont like them.

We all have our imperfections but most probably dont notice.

I tend to be looking at her face and not her stretch marks.

I hate mine, but bio oil has helped.

I used to weigh almost 18 stone so I had loads. Most have faded now but I still feel very self conscious of what's there. No complaints so far though.

Never been an issue, you notice them alright but they aren't a turn off. Skin is beautiful and stretch marks don't affect that.

I agree, even if you go on fb for example every second post is about weight loss, dieting or how to get rid of stretchmarks. Trying to celebrate my body and love myself more but it's tough!

It's your body, you shouldn't be doing what Facebook or anyone else tells you what to do with it. If you want to change it, do so because it's what you want. Happiness and physical health should be your motivation, not someone's ideal of where you should be.

Stretch marks are marks of life and part of everyones personal journey through child birth, weight gain and loss or illness. Each person has their own story..Ive stretch marks along my bikini line and thread veins on my legs from the extra weight during pregnancy. I can either hate them or embrace them and i choose to do the latter as theyre there for a reason...my children.

They are 100% completely natural & any fella that would ever pass a negative comment on your stretch marks is a clown of the highest order.

Be proud of them, you earned them for been your childrens accommodation for 9 mths so tell any fella who thinks otherwise to take a long walk of a short pier.

After giving birth to babies bigger than Xmas turkeys, a horribe surgery scar & serious weight loss in a very short time from size 22 to 14. I have stretch marks. Some faded with time some didn't. I used to be self conscious about them but not any more. If I can't change them there's no point in worrying about them or what other people think of them

I had stretchmarks on my hips since I was a teenager but it's the mummy tummy and the ones across my stomach that bothered me most. Literally looked like I'd done ten rounds with Freddy Krueger lol. Thankfully they're a silvery colour now so not as noticeable. But thinking of it if a man had them from weight gain/loss it wouldn't bother me so I should just accept them.
