In a late bar tonight. Great vibe. Dancing drinking then out of the blue. .... the national anthem...Christ haven't heard that in years after a club. Brought back great memories including the slow dance. Is this a thing of the past or still active in places

Dublin West

If i had to guess i would imagine you not in Dublin when that happened.

Not seen that in ages.

Bring back the slow set i say. Though would the youth of today know what to do as they usually too busy looking at the world through their phone screen to notice whats going on around them in real life

You'd be surprised, I'm a Dj and got pulled aside one night for not finishing with the anthem. "This is a republican pub you know", that was in Finglas, do it depends on what part of Dublin.

Wasn't the staff lol a disgruntled punter! Lol

Mind you I'd play it at the end of any party or wedding, purely so people can't annoy me to play on. Sorry I would do but you can't play anything after the anthem
