Iv never used one before but they seem alot cheaper than hotels. Looking thru the site I see tho that many homes have just bedrooms for rent so that kinda rules out some Fab activities.
How does the Airbnb work & Is there anyone that have used some in the NorthEast area that they can recommend or rule out? |

Have used it twice while on holidays and found it very good. There is a search option to select an entire home but you have to pay up front for it. Some properties give a refund less Airbnb fees but some give no refunds at all so you need to keep an eye out for that. |

Think it's brilliant but you have to remember that these are people's own homes and may just move out for your stay. You need to put in whether you want the entire home or just a room. Presently looking at accommodation on there for my trip to Australia  |

Same as here, used it loads, in Dublin and all over Europe and always entire home.
If you're staying for a little longer, it can be a good idea to message the host before booking. You can negotiate with them and they can send a tailored cheaper offer.
Airbnb is brilliant for this lifestyle as no reception to pass if going to apartment with two girls, or three, or ..... |
