I have 2, technically 3 favourites
The joker- rewatch the first Batman, Jack is epic and manic. Heath is fantastic too. The joker is a fantastic villan, mad as a hatter and willing to go further than anybody else as ge doesn't give a fuck.
Hans Gruber - i love die hard and Bruce Willis is great but the 1st film would be nothing without Alan Rickman's Gruber |

"Satan
The ultimate bad guy
He's a choirboy compared to me
Beelzebub, the master of all things evil and darkness "
Its an Arnie quote to Satan (immensely played by Gabriel Byrne) from end of days after he's had a lacing
[Satan] “Now you’re upsetting me. You don’t want to see me upset.”
[Jericho Cane] “Oh, you want to fuck with me? you think you’re bad, huh? You’re a fucking choir boy compared to me! A CHOIR BOY!” |

The facts are Satan is the epitome of darkness and all that is evil in the world
Saying Heath "I'm a shit joker" Ledger is the man is laughable |

I think this may have spiralled a tad, i was talking film bad guys, fictional and i don't believe i did say Heath was the man, truth is his Joker is quality but possibly because released posthumously it has elevated status much like Kurt Cobain's death has made Nirvana's music timeless.
As for reality, i beg to difer.
Satan has no actual power, his creator lent him it for an amount of time and will take it away. He can only use it if humans are daft enough to believe his lie that he is all powerful. I don't fear the gun, rather the man with his finger on the trigger.
According to Satan's creator, there are worse things than a fallen angel
The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked.

Ralph Fiennes in Schindlers List. Another one who wouldn't be your stereotypical bad guy would be the Warden in Shawshank Redemption. I think the fact they are far more realistic than bad guys like the joker make it better. |
