A few threads recently looking advice, so instead of giving others advice, think about if you could go back in time and tell your younger self or maybe even pre-fab self some advice, what would it be?
To my younger self - Don't waste time sweating the small stuff, and maybe that its actually cool to be a redhead
To early pre fab or early fab self - to know that everyone is not who they say they are. Time will always show true colours so don't be in any rush to meet.
Mine is not very witty so let's be hearing your wise words for yourself. |

Hmmm....real good topic!
To my younger self....travel more, be true to yourself....remember family is everything.
To myself pre-Fab.....stick it out and bear with it. You'll finally find what you are looking for as cream always rises to top! Oh and always be respectful! |

My advice would be to be more fearless. I let fear make choices for me. Have the awkward conversations with wifey. Don't hide what you want to do, tell her and it will be ok. |

Listen to your father on the morning of your wedding.
Think before you speak, keeps you out of a lot of trouble.
If it's not right don't try to fix it.
And finally have as much fun as you possibly can. |

I would not tell my younger self anything other than 'it'll all be ok'
Over the last 15 years there have been so many things that sometimes I wish hadn't happened but when I look back I realise all of those things lead me to where I am now and I wouldn't change a thing. |

To my younger self - life is for enjoying and there will come a time that you realise you will regret not doing stuff as opposed to the stuff you have done...so live it up and ignore the moral hangover that other people's Judgement's try to put on you. Each experience will lead you to figuring it all out and that is your lifelong journey. Travel more while you can, love your body... it's the only one you get, embrace each experience for what it is...not what you think it can be and enjoy those moments...they will one day be your memories.
Swing more and enjoy every minute.
Do not settle... believe in your own worth and enjoy the ride
To my pre fab self - don't believe everything you are told... don't sweat it...be true to who you are and it will pay off.
Great thread op

i don't know why so many people would tell their younger self to change or do something different. everything we have done has led us to the people we are today. the only advice id give is keep doing what your doing but do more of it. |

I wouldn't change my past, everything happens for a reason but if I could give myself any advice it would be to stop worrying, embrace being a weirdo - it's who you are and the right people will love you for it.
Forget about the people that don't understand you, they aren't worth trying to impress.
Believe you can - and you will (what ever it may be) |

To my younger self...
..you have a good heart and a strong back, stop trying to fit others agendas and trust your own instincts, they will carry you places that most people will never get to see...
.
.quite philosophical for a hidden profile of a monday afternoon!!!... |

I wouldn't changed anything that has happened in the past as it has made me the person I am now. The only thing I would tell my younger self is to be more confident and that if people don't like you so what it's their loss |

Sometimes doing the right thing is embarrassing and not cool. Get over that early on...and listen to what I just told you! Some of the smartest people are good listeners.

"Advice to me this time last year....
Back Leicester to win the league 2015/2016 "
You still wouldn't have believed it
What would I tell my younger self? "Commit more of your time to doing the things you enjoy. Time passes by very quickly." |
