So I met a guy last year for a drink, he back working in my neck of the woods this week and wanted to meet..... I kept telling him time wasn't on my side and that it was just a manic time of year for me.....he was being a bit pushy (which I never like) the other night I went on to my facebook page to find that he had tracked me using my phone number and had sent me a message on there... I don't know about anyone else on here by my private life is just that......private..... I may invite you to join it but I feel nobody has the right to go poking around until they find "me"....must say this freaked me out a bit until I thought about it and reversed the thing and went checking out his facebook page......yes there is photo of wife and kiddies on holidays happy families all round...this guy is just lucky I am not vindictive or I could have messaged his wife......I didn't though.....not for him but for her.......she doesn't deserve a dickhead like him for a husband but I will leave it to her to find it out by herself.. discretion is key on this site and it seems some people just don't get it...... end of rant here ..... sorry....... |

I had this happen n i hate the pushiness it just turns me off.. That's the chance you take with face pics n phone numbers , they can be google searched.
I had to tell the person out straight to piss off.

No excuse or anything as this is way too creepy. When you access Facebook from your phone it tracks the numbers from your contact (I think) because 3 women I've met have popped up on my 'People you may know' section on my Facebook profile but needless to say I did not contact them as that's just too weird. 
BTW when are we getting married?  |

Ive no issue with any one been married on here as long as the tell the truth ,,but stalking a person private facebook page whether married or single is an an awful invasion of privacy ,, I hope he doest do it to anyone else I don't think so after this post ha hs |

Not the first and def not the last...unfortunately a fair proportion of singke guys on here cant handle refusal...couple friends,ive made on here have left the site for exactly the same reason..

what you have to understand here is that there are opportunistic types who will think nothing of harassing you to death until you give in to meeting them , some people treat this site as a quick leg over type thing and if you seem to be a good bet based on previous interaction then they will try to orchestrate something that suits THEM . and to hell with the fact that you said it doesnt suit you etc , the more married they are the more brazen they become in the persuit of a risk free ride the logic being that you dont deserve any respect anyway if your on this site . Just block the cnut and forget about it . |

So let me get this straight, the guy sent you a message on fb, and from what we can tell it wasnt in any way abusive (im sure you would have said if it was) and youre on here acting like hes just sacrificed someones first born. I hope all the 'support' youre getting is helping. You must be mentally scarred for life... |

Ive had the same thing. Swapped details with this guy and very quickly he unravelled and started calling me at all hours of the night. 10-20 txts a day. He tracked me on facebook too. Its a good idea to not link your phone number to your account. If you are on facebook make everything blank in the search so he cant identify you. Like no friends or page material available. The weirdo i had onto me started messaging my friends. My block list on fab is crazy long  |

We get it a lot too. Got quite bad last night so now we're going to name and shame them on our profile. The only way to beat a bully is to fight back.

the problem with that is that admin don't tolerate that kind of behaviour... I do think there should be some kind of name and shame part of the site, but I guess it would be difficult to do without it being abused....... |
