"back to my homeland while my eu passport is still valid "
I wonder what will happen with all our EU passports after we leave? I mean if we leave in 2 years and have 6 years left on our passports , will it be a money spinner when they make us buy new ones? |

If you're driving up then there's a few hotels close by the airport who provide a stay/park and fly deal, very reasonable too!
They also provide free shuttle bus to the airport |

"well theres an airport coach from the city so most hotels are within easy reach of the airport "

There's loads of hotels within the airport area that all run shuttle buses to and from the terminals every half hour or so. Travellodge, premier inn, clayton, maldron, Radisson, Carlton. There's a crowne plaza and days inn slightly further away but run shuttles too!!

Most bus Eireann routes stop at the airport. Much cheaper than driving and parking, and as has been said, lots of the nearby hotels run shuttle buses to and from the airport, some of them operate around the clock.
Enjoy your trip, it's always nice to go home |

"Intriguing to know why so may believe foreign travel will become impossible after Brexit. US citizens aren't in Europe and seem to get everywhere!"
The only real effect is how long it will take to get through Passport control as you'll no longer be able to use the EU ones. Oh and getting a nice little stamp on your passport. Working might be a different story. Though once any trade agreements are concluded with the EU, freedom to travel and work will probably be part of them. No other words the whole imigration thing will be null and void as the Polish will still be able to come and work
OP the travel lodge in Airside is probably your best bet. |

Didn't say impossible but we will no longer have freedom of travel and work in EU countries. Lot of things that are unsure what are going to happen because of brexit even brexit campaigners don't know cause they have no plan in place because they didn't expect to win ... its a case of watch this space it seems |

dont know to be honest , we would still have to wait till Germany and France have there elections and see what Deal UK representatives will be able to get from EU when leaving. Say the UK union has been harmed quite badly and see result on 23rd June has already sealed the fate of Scottish 2nd Referendum , i wonder if Gibralter and NI would follow suit |
