Hey all..I have a pretty thick skin(joys of getting old)..so want to ask an honest question to all ladies on fab...I have been on site nearly 3 months at this stage and only managed to meet two different very nice fab members for coffee etc..I like to think im not sleazy, alright looking and able to hold a good conversatation both by msg and in real life but i still have no joy on this..Please tell me where im going wrong..is it the profile or is it just the ratio girls to guys on this too low?..signed off frustrated fabber  |

Hi Blue Eye's. You say you are a fluent talker but have more text here than on your profile. Use your gift of the gab, keep it light hearted and respectful. Also personally I would make your face pic's private until you are chatting with someone. Edit your photos more as in take out background. Hope this helps and happy fabbing and have patience...just because you are on fab doesn't mean naked women will be banging on the door...signing up isn't enough... it's a combo of chat, photos, effort and patience. Great advice, also we are all aware that there is more men then women here, so I would say as your already verified to try and get to a meet and greet. They aren't everyone's cup of tea and that's fine, but meet 100/200 other fabbers face to face and getting your personality across (in my opinion) greatly increases your chances compared to emails as ladies get hundreds every day |

All good points made so far.thanks folks.suppose im more chatty at times in person than online but need to get myself out there..im not just on this for one night stands..I want to explore my sexual side with lile minded people but trying to get invited to socials even coffee meets is like the golden ticket here for single lads lolipop..the demand is too high  |

Tbh op I think you did quite well in those three month, others don't get a verification being on here for a year or more. just don't give up, keep doing what you're doing and grab the chance for an m&g, and I'm pretty sure you'll succeed.

I'm sure they can be intimidating at first but once you join in it's far less of a bother and worry.

Just got really into Fab couple of months ago when circumstances became single again after several years... so used Fab to try get myself back out there again and have fun again but I didn't go with expectations thinking I am going try sleep with as many ladies as possible , I was more the social side chats etc... So my advice is have fun on here , show your sense of humour in your posts and messages... don't be afraid to make fool of yourself life to short for that , don't care about begrudgers and enjoy the ride. My two cents, for what it's worth
As already said you're meet verified and, in the grand scheme of things, after not too long on the site. So you're arguably well ahead of the curve in that regard.
Your profile is not just there to allow you to browse the site to be fair, take advantage of the opportunity to sell yourself; you've said more about yourself and your personality in your OP than your profile text.
Certainly take heed of any and all advice from women as to what is the general preference picture wise etc but ultimately there's no 'copy and paste' profile template. You're looking to attract people that fit your personality. That doesn't mean you can't beef up your profile, that's just common sense and there's been plenty of good advice from men and women on the thread on how to do so; maybe talk about yourself, what you're looking for. Again, just sell yourself basically it doesn't need to be an essay.
Joining in the forums is good as well, they're a friendly bunch . It's another platform to put your personality forward and keep an eye on M&Gs, which I suppose are a great way to meet new people
