Anyone done the dreaded ACL in their knee? I had surgery two weeks ago and it's a weekend spent on the couch ahead....at least there's the Euro's!

Yeah about ten years ago but like an idiot I didn't follow my post op exercise routine. Paying the price for it now. Constant pain when I try to run and the only way out is another op

Be a few more weekends on the couch. Do your exercises. And try find serious things that motivate you personally. I'm coming back from 10 weeks ago. Acl rupture and full meniscal evulsion! Google that bit haha. By now my good knee feels like my bad one! Haha but seriously....rehab rehab rehab. Don't ignore the physio on this one. Makes the surgery pointless!

Dublin West

Do your joints a favour and give up on the running.

Cycle or swim instead.

Completely agree as I didn't and living with the legacy of not listening to the physio
