Irish fans north and south are rightfully celebrated and known all over the world for mixing with the locals, having a few friendly drinks with rival supporters and being great ambassadors for the country. I think that will continue in the Euros. The Irish fans are so much more than the win, lose we re on the booze mentality.

I'm travelling over in a few days and the one thing that everyone keeps saying us thank christ we don't have to mix with the English supporters. Now that's not to say the vast majority aren't fine but with so much pressure put on security force's you would think they might cop on for one tournament but thugs will be thugs.

I'm In a couple of FB groups ad the banter with the northern Irish supporters has been top class. North or south, queen or president we know how to conduct ourselves have a few beers and respect the locals. Cannot wait to get over there
