Drop a clove of garlic cut in 2 into a glass of boiling water water. Leave for a few mins then slowly sip it. Tastes like donkey bollocks but I swear it helps. |

....I was trying to explain to a Galway guy the different words from ni, that meant the same thing. ...foundered with the cold. ...starving with the cold...same thing..choking with the thirst, dying with the thirst... etc...he got it kinda wrong. ...he said. .he was foundered with the hunger. ..and another time he said he was choking for a shite...that just reminded me, nothing to do with the thread at all.......

Haha no problem!! Choking for a shite is a new one on me!! In Galway we say starving with the thirst, warped with the hunger and dying for a shite!!!! |
