Well that's 3 meets now out of 4 that was a last second cancelation. Seriously people why bother with the weeks of chit chat and flirting... Then just not turn up. Rant over!

The problem with excuses are they may be very genuine and yet the receiver feels let down and ego can creep in wither replies or girn'n.....It doesn't help fab to have this topic as a daily post. Sometimes it's good to accept and let it be. Makes people less cynical and their fore more open to coffee meets.
Yes there are some that are not genuine...I have more sympathy for those who struggle to get a meet...can be months for some and then it doesn't happen.....some spout about 10 or 15 meets planned and only 1 turns up.....nice if you can get 15 meets then really what's the problem, there are another 20 round the corner.
The forums are becoming more a place to just gripe. |

I say - always trust ur gut feeling. But real life does kick in and plans do have to get cancelled but as long as you give as much notice as possible genuine peeps do understand

I lost count of the no shows I've had over the years not to mention the ones that do show then insult me to my face and leave again as fast and some men wonder why it's difficult to get women to meet them you move on get over it yes but it can make you wary again on who you will meet or not in future |

Judging by the regularity of some in the forums on this topic they can't move on or don't want to. It's a shame tbh as so much of the fab fun is then overlooked and lost for many members. |

That's mad, why bother going to the effort only to bottle it at the last minute? If it's nerves just show up and tell the truth, that's the best thing to do I think.
