Never really get too nervous before a meet but this time I'm getting butterflies and panicking. Is this normal? How do I calm myself down?

Just nervous excitement. I always have a mixture of emotions before a meet. But they will disappear and be replaced with exciting fun. Lucky guy indeed

it's very normal to be nervous before a meet, I think there would be something wrong with me if I wasn't nervous, im getting ready for a meet now and I have butterflies myself

I would agree with you about a lot of girls here but i would have to defend miss car only because i spoke with her a lot the last time i was here and can say she is nothing but plesant and very much NOT an attention seeker as you put it.
