GoT fan? Download a guidebook on where they filmed. Best pizza in town? Through the main gate, up an alleyway on your left about halfway down before the Placa turns right. Think there was a chemist opposite the alley. Beautiful city, try a boat out to the islands if you have sea legs... |

The islands are lovely. If you can spend a night or two on one. They tend to be busy during the day with day trips on ferries so at night they are really quiet and peaceful.
For a bit of weirdness rent a car and drive to monte negro. Two countries dirt poor with enormous fuck you border check points to negotiate which is pretty weird to navigate. Monte negro operates on the euro so it's interesting to see the country operate. |

If you are going to the elaphiti islands Sipan doesn't have that much but Lopud is gorgeous - sandy beaches, palm trees, gorgeous local white wine, delicious food and don't forget the gelato!!!!! |

I was in Dubrovnik last few days..
It's amazing and lots of tours and everybody speaks English and the pizzas are to die for!
Never drink white wine but Croatia is famous for its delicious wine and believe me it's delicious...
If your a GOT fan there are also loads of tours but we got a private guide and it was a little bit more expensive but was well worth it...
Also we travelled to the national park where they are filmed a lot of the current series...
Try to travel to Split the beaches there are incredible and Zadar is full of history and the infamous sundial..I feel like I'm promoting for trip adviser lol..
Downside...nearest fabber is currently 350Kl away and the heat is making me rampant

Beautiful place, I was there years ago.....spent the whole day trying to hitch from split to Dubrovnik when I was penniless.... Didn't know hitching was illegal back then before Yugoslavia fell apart....No wonder I never got a lift.....  |
