Drogheda

I got to save a life today when I plucked a man from the sea between Irelands eye and the velvet strand portmarnock, the poor guy came off his kayak and couldn't get back on and had drifted for over an hour and over a mile, he's safe and well now and his kids will see him again, I'm very humbled by the whole experience, everything happens for a reason

Well done you. I know the waters around there hold no judgment. They'll take you away in a heartbeat.

A good man like yourself saved me in Italy. I was losing it. About fifty feet off the edge of sand and he got me.

A current was swirling around my legs and pulling me down.

Very scary.

Good man yourself!!!!

Fair play when I'm out in the bay I see a lot of people in Kyacks and think the always look vulnerable they disappear from view if there is any sort of swell and I have to keep a close eye cause you can be on them in seconds (fast craft) he's lucky you spotted him when you did.

Always feels good helping someone out and when you've saved his life I'd imagine even more so. So well done you!!

You can be so proud of yourself, the sea can be a very dangerous place.
