New smoking areas !!

So the junior health minister has called for designated smoking areas inside pubs and restaurants . I really don't know how I feel about it tbh , as someone who still has the odd smoke when I drink it can be a pain when your out in the cold , but surely it would be taking a massive step backwards ?! It was hard to get used to the smoking ban at the beginning but I think as a country we have gotten over it and I think it was the best decision ever made for our health .

What's your opinion ?

As a smoker id say keep the ban in place as is except hotels there should be smoking rooms

I am a smoker but I totally agree with the smoking ban. Yes the bad weather is a pain at times but I much prefer having pubs and restaurants smoke free.

Not sure I think this new idea is a good one.

We both smoke but I would hate to go back to people smoking in restaurants etc.

Defo shouldn't be brought back, even when I smoked and smoking was allowed in places I hated it. Talk about a step back wards!

As a smoker, I'm with you on this one. It's made me cut back and I also applied the ban on myself at home
