I love bondage, would love to get into the japenese style rope bondage at some point.
Best bet is to start out light...silk ties, hand cuffs even a scarf and see what interested you before you move on to try anything more. |

Sorry to contradict here
Silk has a tendency to tighten as it's pulled so don't use unless you have scissors to cut your victim free
Hand cuffs are ok for short periods as long as no strain is put on the wrist. You can do a lot of nerve damage believe it or not
Safety advice finished
Best advice I can give you is to learn your knots and to practice. A great easy book to follow is by Midori. Google her and rope bondage and you
will find loads of links. She's on YouTube as well
Another good resource is The Knotty Boys
And take a look at informed consent. See if there are any munches or workshops around your way

Baby steps are best and blindfolds do add to the fun, excitement and tension.
oh and yes I do agree that japaneese ropework is an art in itself ... I must do a course in that sometime. |
