I have went to some alone ..I was terrified at forst but thanks to being on the forums and meeting some people socially I met them there

Yes my first one had a loose arrangement to meet up with a few from here and chat but never managed to find them however a very nice cpl kept me company and eased my nerves

I always go to socials on my own except one time when I went with somebody!! I prefer to go on my own really, more independent that way!!!

I've been to more alone than with someone. I'm very chatty so usually talk to someone quickly enough..

They're friendly so don't stress if you're going alone!

Once you've been to one or two socials, there'll always be somebody you'll know at a social & then you get to meet & know more people again!! I love meeting new people too!!

I was gonna go to the last one in Dublin alone but it was too short notice TBH I would o been sitting myself but I still would of went what have ye got to loose ????

Yes

The worst part is having to stand on a chair and read your profile out to everyone, then giving them a printout where they give you a score out of 10 and waiting for the results to find out if they chuck you out or let you stay.

After that it's OK!

Go to a lot of them on my own be lying if I didn't admit my nerves do be gone beforehand, but if you try making contact with a few on the thread before and and go to the pre drinks for newbies they help.

its a deal lolli pop i dropped a smashing lady to the last one and she showed me you outside it was in the Airport !!! i couldn,t go in i had to go to work killed me in work kniowing there was a great party goin on !!

I went to my first alone last month and yes it's harder a a guy to do that because people are not as willing to engage with you. The good thing was the organiser set up a kik group for those who were attending so they could get to know each other in advance.

All the time. I love it all, the social side of things, meeting people you've been chatting with, people you haven't, people you've wanted too, the pre meet jitters, for me it's all part of the experience, even when meeting couple or single privately. The couple of days before hand when you can't leave yourself alone as every filthy thought runs through your head. The day of the meet, getting showered, getting ready, looking your best, the eventual meet, the first nervous hand shake, everyone starting to relax and loosen up,,,,,,,,,,,, and that's when the real fun starts..
