Let's see... first they're going to inject your gum & surrounding area then drill a hole from the top to the very bottom of your tooth. Then they use a file to scrape all the nerves and soft pulp out. (Did I mention the dental dam they're supposed to use now that will make you think you're gonna drown if yr a drooler) we're about halfway now... |

Careful now breathing that cold air in as the Novocaine could be wearing off. Now the hole needs shaping then filling with natural rubber before being capped. The throbbing for the next couple of days can be debilitating... |

The tooth may not be visible but removing it can cause movement in surrounding teeth,and that can lead to further dental loss. |

I had two out yesterday - felt very sorry for myself until I realised it didn't hurt. Then felt sorry for myself when I read the aftercare leaflet as I was about to go find a beer garden - and saw it said no alcohol. That hurt more  |
