Just been getting re-acquainted with some of the bands I used to listen to back in the day but haven't listened to in a long while.
'91-'97 was a great time for a Metal fan.
Anyone else agree??
I'm on a Machine Head 'Burn My Eyes' buzz at the moment. F**kin' class album. |

Burn my eyes is incredible but it all went downhill for Machine Head after that.

Chaos AD and Roots from Sepultura also Max's side project Nailbomb are class
Neurosis through silver in blood

Yep, agree with all of that list. Nailbomb were great. White Zombie too.
Was watching videos from the 1995 Dynamo festival on Youtube, anyone who was anyone at the time played at that festival. It's notorious for being possibly the best line up ever for a metal festival in the 90's. |

Loved Demanufacture when it came out. Such a fresh new sound at the time.
I can't quote everyone but all the bands and album titles popping up in this thread are great. A few in there that I forgot. I'll be going through this thread again for some inspiration when I get a chance to sit down and listen to some tunes later.

Slayer still had some grat albums in the 90's. I was a big fan of 'Undisputed Attitude', the hardcore punk cover album that they did. Got me into bands like Poison Idea and the likes. |

Seen entombed, cathedral, orange goblin and hangnail in the limelight a lot of years ago. Entombed are such a heavy band. |

Just done a google search and it turns out there are at least 2 bands out there called 'Septic Anus'. One in Austria and one in London.
Also there was a band from Ireland called 'septic Pussy' a few years back.

Yeah loved Cathedral.....still sounded a lot like acid reign but heavier....Sepultura, Obituary, Death, DRI, Kreator and Sacred Reich were probably still rocking me out in 91. |

Heard the name...probably got out of metal a bit by then though, it woulda been 80's more for me, metallica up to and justice for all, anthrax up to among the living, SOD, MOD, and Iron Maiden up to somewhere in time....add Sabbat and Bolt Thrower on the early 90's though. |
