Get an idea first, then go looking, there's a good guy out in dunlaoghaire, there's another one in town, reinkarnate or something, look at websites and check out their galleries, do your research |

Tallaght ink is brilliant I got both of mine done there there's a lad called Pepe there he's really good and doing portraits and black and white stuff and Danny is good with colours and cartoons and flowery stuff |

I went to ReInkarnated - Bart I wanted someone who does impecable lines and script. He is so meticulous... I researched who did what based on what I wanted .Some are great artists but crap at fine lines, and vice versa. Find what you want then look at them online or go talk to them.

Agree find a pic and tattooist who does that type of art then sit down with tattooist and work out exactly what you want ........ |

I got a lot of mine done at tattoo conventions happen about once a year last was at dcu! Well worth a look get a lot of international artists there and quality work but it costs!!! |

Im sorry OP I cant help you . I don't have any .I have no personal interest in them. I have about ten scars on my body , they are my tattoos of sorts.I do however think a nice tattoo/tattoos can be very sexy on a woman all the same . |

Atom from south ink in ranlagh is good. He's done a lot of mine. Also recommend if looking outside Dublin the razors edge in kildare. Two studios both which have internationally known artists specialising from black and grey to old school Japanese. Just put in the research first and pick a design that you won't hate after a year |
