What's with the "age 45" limit??

Hey everyone
Having recently slipped peacefully and gracefully....if a little tipsy....from age 45 to 46 I find myself increasingly at the other side of a big wall. I'm amazed at how many cpls and women cut off contact for over 45's  Is age really that big of a deal? I've been lucky to meet great people from mid 20's to late 50's here.....thoughts anyone? |

Its a deterent and a preference for us ..nothing more or less lol .. Everyone has their own preference in life and swinging as Im sure you have also.If we were all the same it would get very boring.That said if we get on well and there is sexual chemistry the age limit is not an issue like our profile says ..  Im sure you look as sexy at 46 as you were at 45  |

You have aged well and look in good shape. Simple fact is that most guys don't look after themselves terribly well and post 40 it shows. The not necessarily younger model is preferred but almost always the fitter well kept model. It's just a general assumption that wrongly excludes you from being included in some people's filters. |

Sadly this is not Hollywood where the big age gaps don't seem to matter.... That said I'm sure if George clooney joined some age restrictions might be upped 
What I might lack in stamina (not much if I say so myself) I more than make up for in acquired skills and in the flesh age is much less of an issue  |

Op, you crossed the point of no return!  but let me tell you some women prefer mature meet.
Alternatively you can use your fab age voucher. Fab allows you to change your age once in a profile life time. Some get older and some get younger, isn't it fabulous! |

Don't see any point in lying about my age ..it's much better being honest about it ..eventually you will get found out lol..honesty is lacking on fab in a big way which makes things harder for genuine people |

Oops surprising with it post.. Really cares the difference ages?? To have sex unless where I come it doesnt matter. My bedroom never knows what is you age!  . I my not going to marry me |

Its people choice when they are looking for a "type".
Itd not as much of an issue at m&g / parties..its all to do with attraction and 1st impressions..I've never been asked my age when I meet people at parties |

I wouldn't want to meet anyone who didn't want to meet me - whether its for my age/colour/height/weight/whatever - its their preference and, I'd like to think, their loss

I must admit at 52 it is depressing seeing the upper age on most profiles is 45
But hey ho what can you do about it ..... Nowt so just smile and move on .... It's just one of those things lol
I should say it's their loss but is never be that vain |

Hey Stan, I've been telling myself for the past five years that it is just a number but it doesn't help me either
Nevertheless, the reverse works also. My age preference works for my message filters but when I see someone I like (between pics, verifs and forum posts) I make the initial contact. So hopefully someone will for you too. Don't forget to fab pics if you can't wink/message
