I know everyone is different so there's no one true rule to this that or the other, but...
What is the ideal first message to receive, in your opinion? 
I think a simple how are you, any plans for the weekend is more than acceptable  |

We get 20+ hi how are you messages in the space of 10 mins. It gets tedious replying to them all.
(I copy paste same reply)
As for weekend plans, I wouldn't be telling strangers what I'm up to..
It also feels like a last minute ploy to see if you'll meet.
I never do last minute meets.,

I have not sent messages like that etc but i have send a message or 2 after reading a profile and perving the pictures..just to compliment a good profile and tell the lady or couple how attractive she/they look.. |

I like if I know someone has read my profile and points something out they have read but also plain and simple make me laugh  I love a good witty message xx |
