I'm under the impression most hotel are just happy to have bums in beds. I been to M&Gs in hotels or been in hotels after an M&G and never been judged or felt like I was. I've even arrived at quite a swanky hotel in Dublin, where the couple had told me the room number and to come straight up. On entering the lobby I was asked by reception
"Can I help you Sir?"
"I'm fine, just meeting some friends"
"Can I have the name please Sir?"
"ermm it's, ermm John and erm Jane"
"May I have their surname please Sir?"
Erm, they're in room number 326, you can phone up, they're expecting me"
"No problem Sir, go straight up. The lifts are to your right"
Basically all I'm saying is no one judges you in hotels, and if they do Fuck'm. They're just jealous your having better sex than them.

The only places you have to be concerned about are places that put door staff on after a certain hour or the apartment with reception type (quiet places that would notice you bringing in extra people. )
Apartment hotels with no physical presence (save a lone security guard doing the rounds) or hotels away from rowdy city centres tend to be the best. The is one just over the boarder from newry that gets used a lot, one in the centre of newry that is popular or even the small hotel immediately off the m1 by the lurgan exit.
If you're meeting a couple as a foursome you're unlikely ever to have problems.if you want more numbers or are likely to be making a ton of noise then each place brings its own risks. The best rule is that quiet hotels are best (less chance of neighbours complaining about the noise) but ask for a room away from other guests (say you are a very light sleeper) as some hotels prefer to 'fill' up bookings floor by floor rather than allocate randomly. A hotel with a bar is best because then your guests can always enter the premises as meeting you for a drink. |

I've always toyed with the idea of getting a bag that looks like a pizza delivery bag so I can even ask the reception where such and such room number is etc without raising any suspicion. |
