Was in bed almost ready to go to sleep and then I get an invite over, after a couple of message I decide to go, jump up get showered and changed and then message to get direction and nothing, message read no response, does this happen a lot ?? I think it's bad form !!!

Just got chatting to them tonight, but o have met people on here before after just chatting on the night, in wide awake now after showering

Hmmmm see that could be the problem, you only shared a few messages with strangers...
Now okay they may be verified, but this could be the norm with them , take cold feet and pull out..
Though who knows what has happened, they could have had an emergency or a big fight

Pretty rotten thing to do to anybody and hope youre ok Op. The likes of those instant,last minute meets give me the creeps anyway. I do think someone has let the other person down and im second choice so i refuse to meet like that.

It has happened us more that once  we had been chatting for a while with them and even swapped phone numbers with one . Then we arrange to meet after they gave us a date to book a sitter. And then on the day nothing one was still messaging us upto an 10mins before the meet . We had already arrived at the hotel and where having a drink and then nothing.
Talk about been made a fool of , so we left after an hour and we had a great night out anyway . Its just after that we are more defensive than before
