Is the swinging lifestyle becoming more socially acceptable

It just something I've been wondering about recently. You here "civilians" mentioning it a bit but more in way of curious interest than putting it down. Has it become new forbidden fantasy pleasure for some. |

With the presence of a private club and a more open club now in Ireland and the coverage by the press in resent years the rise in interest was inevitable. The loosing of the church's grip has help more open minded thinking people to express their sexual desire also the fetish scene is on the rise |

Very true yet there is possibly stigma attached to it that could ruin someone's work or social life. |

I lived in France for a few years, and I'd always mention it to girls I met, or if I was on a first date, that I loved living in Cannes, because there was something for everybody here, wine bars, sport bars, Irish bars, disco bars, big clubs and fancy clubs, there is the cabaret at the tranny bar, and there is even swingers clubs. Even I was surprised how many said "Swingers club? Realy! I'd love to go to one"
I told them I'd be more than happy to accompany them and I'd always reasure them that it's, just a club, there is a Dj, music, a dance floor, a bar, like you'd find in any club. Obviously upstairs, or down stairs (depending on which one we'd go to) is a little deferent, but the people are always respectful, friendly and extremely social and we don't have to do anything, I'm just going to take you for a drink, a dance and a little look around. So that was always my second date. The swingers club. |

I honestly do not think it will be accepted as the norm..
Swinging has been popular Worldwide from the late 50s , honestly you would think the Irish invented it...
Couples still view it with suspicion, look at the shift towards singles who now indulge and in particular within the younger age bracket..
In Ireland the media treat us like freaks in a circus, and society then make assumptions based on stories in red tops..
A lot of my gay friends find it disgusting, their words , lost count of the arguments on the subject.. |
