ladies dress shoes...heels -v- flatties

Ever noticed ladies in impeccable office attire (dress or top and skirt with black stocking a or tights)....only to see them wearing those horrible flat shoes. Wouldn't nice heels look better? And before the inevitable posts start about comfort. ...i not talking about 6 inch hooker heels lol ) |

"Here's the inevitable post. Comfort, comfort, comfort.
I see all the admirers (so far) are men that don't wear them!"

Work shouldn't be distracting either so flats all the way. Plus....they're so comfy. |

Why don't you walk around in some sexy heels for a full day and report back? |

If they are in office attire they are probably dressed for work. So comfort is the priority. Anyway, what is "horrible" about flats? Bit of an overstatement IMO. Also, dressing to be perved is not a good career move. |

Nothing at all if that's how a wants to dress - free world after all. Just like there is nothing wrong with wearing flats to the office if that is what a woman wants, certainly you hope she would be able to do so without seeing her "horrible flats" as worthy of a forum topic. But I suppose you have a fair point, after all she is only there to offer eye candy for her male colleagues |

On the topic of female work attire , women that go to work in a blouse two sizes to small for them , have it unbuttoned down to the belly button . Have they really got grounds for complaint if some fellow has a good look ? |

Yes she has, how a woman dresses is her choice, I am sick of guys flaunting their chests through shirts not buttoned to the neck |

You are missing my point. How a woman (or a man) dresses for work is their choice and should not be the basis for complaint on the grounds that they have not dressed attractively enough for the opposite sex. In my experience most people in work are dressed for work, not for perving and if you really want to make judgement on their attire it should be on that basis. |

"Knows a good few girls who wear flats on their commute to work who change into their heels when they get there.
And it makes sense if they have a long commute especially on public transport "
