Bringing up topic of swinging with the other half

To those that have made the step recently or in the past.......how the hell did you bring up the suggestion of swinging.....or was it just the case that you could sense it's something your other half wouldn't be adverse to and was as simple as saying 'how do you fancy a chinese tonight' 
really intrigued to hear people's stories |

Met my partner on this. When we decided to be an "official" couple we both agreed we still wanted a bit of fab in our life. So we were both lucky we were on the same page and didn't have to have "that talk" |

LONG STORY SHORT
Mr B mentioned swinging quite a bit over the years, in a joking kinda way. So 18 months ago I told him I was fed up listening to him talk about it n if he wasn't going to do something about to just drop it. And the rest is history   |

I think it's one of those kinda things where u already know the answer but still think u can change it. If ur anyway cautious of bringing it up its probably on your intuition alone so stick with ur gut!! |

Interesting responses to say the least!!
To be honest I used to think 'what the f are those guys at'....but as you get older (well in my case anyway) you realise it's just about enjoying yourself and ignoring the whole conventional relationship bs! You've only got the one life so you may as well fecking live it!!
Cheers for the responses though lads and ladies ....my opening post to the forums looked like it had bombed big time there for a while!!!

I agree with this to some extent. If you're with a new partner you just can't know for sure but if you're with a partner for a significant period of time I think your gut instinct will be right.

After telling Mr about a 3sum I'd had a few years back and him having a total meltdown he realized he loved the idea of it . plenty of bedtime talking later we took the plunge and here we are |
