Hi all, booked this place in Galway completely at random for Thursday night.. I was wondering is it a nice place and far out from they city centre? You know these advertisement sites always talk it up lol |

Their pub ids very busy, tends to get a young college type crowd. No idea what the hotel part is like, but if you just want somewhere to sleep it is probably fine.
If you fancy somewhere nicer for a a pint (IMO) O'Connells pub - immediately across from the Skeff on the other side of the square is a very nice pub.; |

Perfect place to stay cheap and cheerful Shop street is just around the corner loads of bars there great craic Thursday night is student night I thing but you will enjoy |

Well The Skeff is nice I like it a lot! Croud there is all ages but this week everywhere probabaly will be full with students.
As for hotel part...same no idea never was there. But sure its in heart of city centre so you can walk to whatever bar around!!
