I rarely check my winks.. But went on this evening and there's about 50 of them it I went to look at profiles loads have me blocked  what's that about? |

I quite like a wee wink. I also don't mind a simple hello in a first message. Breaking the ice can be daunting and hard for some people. If you met someone for the first time in person, a simple hello is all it takes to open a conversation. I follow the same principle here on fab. I also like the wink. For me it's a way of saying, I like your profile. Sometimes I would send a wink as many women get inundated with mail and just delete their inboxes without reading any. So a wink and maybe a follow up message a week or so later. That's just me.  |

I never check mine which isnt really fair but i forget to do it. Theres guys here who wink in the hope youll like what ye see in their profile. And us on the otherhand who dont bother to check so its another disadvantage to the lads on here,the number 1 being unanswered mails. Note to self, check winks more. |

It's amazing what a wink can lead to 
If u were in bar and a guy/girl winked at u it helps to break the ice. Next step is to say hi or in some cases have u something in ur eye it leads to the start of a conversation very soon after u know where it's going or at least not going.
As is often said would u do it in a public bar |

I'm so so on winks.
I've contacted few who have winked & they say "ohhhh no we didn't" which just irritates me. Why press wink only to deny it when contacted thanking you for wink |

I completely ignore winks.. And friend requests...
If someone i've been yapping to adds me then yep, that's cool but random adds.. I just leave them sitting there. Then they can't attempt to add you again for a few months I believe... |

Yes I send winks, people on here should recognise winks as a genuine sign of interest in there profile and wink back if they like the person. It gets the ball rolling and saves time on writing a mail which may never be opened or just deleted! Check your winks |

Im laughing here at the wink in a public bar i wonder how many ladies here were winked at in a bar and looked over their shoulder in case it wasnt for them ive done that loadsa times |
