Just had amazing sex but sometimes I get the brain freeze headache when I cum and today it was mental! They only happen now and again thank god! Anyone else have these?  |

A few years I had these happen to me a few times, it would start during the buildup to climax and explode when climaxing. I found the frightening to be frank! Read up about it and or visit your GP
Luckily for me these no longer bother me, they were probably partly due to an inordinate amount of stress I was under at the time, but they may be due to other factors and require some kind medication if persistent, but it seems to be relatively common or so I was told. |

Does the headache stay fully or just stay for a couple of minutes like the ice-lolly one? |

Like the ice lolly one about five minutes though so very intense. I do know other people who have had them but thank fully I don't get them very often as they are excruciating I hate pain!

There was a thread on here before ( or maybe uk thread ) about people passing out during sex / orgasm . Sounds like that and the massive headache your describing could be stress / blood pressure related . Maybe a checkup with the doc is in order . But it could be something as simple as being dehydrated ! Sex can be a very wet affair and that water has to come from somewhere , if you know what I mean . You'd be surprised the headache you can get from dehydration . G |

Happens to me sometimes if the sex is very intense or I'll end up in a sex coma , rare but happens , never headaches , OP maybe go see your GP |

They are actually quite common. I get them sometimes. But a hell of a lot longer than 5 minutes. Read up on google.
Could it also be a release of hormones during sex?? Don't know but it's an excruciating pain. I also suffer from hormone related migraines.
Anyway the moral of the story is visit your GP to be safe.
Hope they don't put you off sex!!  |

Have you tried pressing your tongues against the roofs of your mouths? as this is supposed to relieve icy brain freeze, maybe it works for this ailment. It sounds awful. |

I've that sometimes too but only when having lady wank. I put it down to irregular breathing or even holding your breath when peaking which causes a lack of oxygen in your brain, respectively a headache. |

I get the brain freeze and it scares the life outta me so when I know it's likely to happen I hold off on the orgasm...annoying to the person I'm with but, sorry, it knocks me out of action for too long afterwards!
Gonna mention it to doc at my next check up. |

From what youre describing its known as a Coital Headache. Muscles in the neck and head tense up during sexual arousal. After orgasm the blood pressure rises and dilates the blood vessels. Theyre harmless normally but if they persist with severe pain, please visit your Gp.  |
