I am an avid user of this site (no slagging!)
I've just been told by a friend of mine on here that I came up on his suggested friends list. Now I don't go on this site or fb on my phone as I haven't an internet phone. Nor is my phone number on my fb account. And I have different email addys for both sites.
How has this happened. Anyone know? |

Thanks for your answers. I'm still puzzled by it (maybe I'm just being totally thick).
We have no friends in common, so thats not it.
I can't remember if I still have his number on my phone (will find out - I put everyone from here in code ... then forget who they are lol)but even if I do have his number, I don't have my phone number on facebook. |

"I've been told by a number of people that it's the fb messenger app that links with your contacts and creates this scenario. It's happened to many."
Not quite sure what that is lol - but thanks. In this case theres no harm done but theres some weird old people about that I wouldn't want knowing my facebook details. Does make you wonder |

"it could be Google or chrome if you are logged into it. Google Facebook and the likes are known for collecting data "
I do use chrome incognito for everything. It must be that in some way. Thanks |

You said that you had come up on his suggestions? Well nothing to do with you. Your friend has probably searched/creeped your face of book before. So in time it will add you as a friend suggestion. Not rocket science! |
