I jog 3-4 times a week, it's great head space and a great way to blow the cobwebs off. If someone is looking for a jogging buddy drop me a PM

For those who are thinking about taking it up try Parkrun..just google it.

Agree! Parkrun is great although if I was running with some of you in fab in my local park I might be too tempted to put you in to the hedges!

3 years ago I was the same, I'm doing 12km 3 days a week. Completed a few half marathons....once you get the bug it's hard to loose it.

I'm a running coach. I coach couch to 5 k and upwards. I often take groups out mostly women. Lots of flirting goes on, can't be helped, just part of my job. I have to oblige

Love running but not in a group as the freedom of it is what's so attractive. Joined a gym recently and hate being around other gross sweaty people, way prefer to be out in the fresh air no matter the weather.

First race I'm doing is end of feb...a bit afraid of my time tbh considering how poor Jan has been.

Don't get caught up on your time. You will run a far better race and enjoy it more if stop looking at that watch. A 14 minute mile is the same as a 7 minute mile !!

don't worry about a time in your first race , Go along and enjoy it as a new experience , my only advice would be ... dont be tempted to bolt from the start go at the pace you know and dont get sucked into an early dash

But most of all ... Enjoy the lycra clad ladies alongside you

I run mostly around UCD in Dublin. A very pleasant and surprisingly scenic route is the trail along the Dodder river. If you see a shirtless gy on a skmewhat warm day, say hi

That's the most important thing only do what u want and are capable of. Those are very good times but like u know urself if u overtrain too quickly you'll get injured so take some time to enjoy ur accomplishments
