I jest. All of Donegal is beautiful and you will love it. Dress for the cold though, it gets bitter up there  |

Redcastle Hotel is lovely great Spa Leisure facilities. It also has busy bar/lounge area over the weekend as there is usually functions on most weekends so the craic can be mighty and the company excellent. Could be a bit cold this time of year right enough but I'm sure you can find something to warm you up...lol.
Just 4 miles up the road Moville is a nice little village with a couple of really friendly bars too....Enjoy |

The Hotel is nicely situated on the shore of Lough Foyle and has a Golf course (9 hole I think) if that's your thing. There's nothing within walking distance of the Hotel and as has been suggested Movile a few miles down the road is worth a visit. I'd recommend Rosetta's bar for a visit.
About 3 miles further on is Greencastle - a small fishing village with some good pubs and a very good seafood restaurant called Kealeys. You may have to book.
If you are feeling energetic and the weather is good there is a lovely coastal path walk from Moville to Greencastle. |
