Kids now seem to know soooooo much about the old birds and bees , and at a very young age...
I was educated by nuns, our sex education class was a farce 
At home my mum barely mentioned the subject, thank god for much older siblings!!
At what age did you get the ` talk `, was it at school or home?..
Or did friends fill in the gaps  |

I know. ..but our dog looks at me so disparagingly whilst I'm either licking or attempting the ole canine position on Apples...
Yesterday morning we were fooling around in the kitchen (fully dressed) where Apples was attempting to demonstrate to me the porn star doggy position over the table ( me in the female roll)...

My father rared us.. Sex was never talked about and any kissing Scenes were turned off.
My aunt and older relatives talked a bit about it but when I met my ex husband that is when I explored 
When I left him that's when I found out what good sex was haha   |

My oldest sister gave me "the talk" and when it was time for my oldest daughter to be told of the birds and bees i bought the book "girls growing up" and went through it with her. Apart from a red face and uncomfortable moments it was fine. My sons got "the talk" from their dad but the eldest lad did come along one day asking how far did he need to push his fingers in to know it was enough |

I found out at the age of 8 from a friend whose older sister had just gotten "the talk" from her mother. My own mother gave me a book when I was about 11, I have no recollection of what was in it so it can't have been very exciting.
With my own kids I have always answered their questions honestly in what I considered an age-appropriate manner. Their primary school does an evening for 6th class kids and their parents which is very useful. |

my parents were always a little "worried" when I was growing up about my preferences. ..
I'd see them chatting and he'd shake his big "buildery" head and say something reassuring to her like.
"No he can't be, he's on the football team"...

Some of the 'aul wans' should've gotten the talk too.
In a mates gaff, and we were in first year in school, we were watching a football match on the tv.
My mates mother was in the room reading the Sunday World and got to the 'Dear Linda' page.
