On an aside...op..i looked at your veri list and haven't come across one single person on it before...im about years..never ceases to a amaze me how many people there are in fab...  |

I think its great when ppl mail each other, rather than always expecting to receive mail...its the same with friends...it just doesn't work if its always one person initiating things.. |

Hi op,don't think the great assumption that some make about women having the upper hand here is totally correct personally. .and some women ,like some men don't have great confidence, is down to each person. If you like a women that knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say so that's the type that will probably message, if that's not what you're looking for maybe it's better that someone without that attitude doesn't message. ..If that makes sense lol ..

I don't think it's confidence as much as fear that who your mailing wouldn't see you as their type. So by letting the men have the upper hand or taking the initiative to mail you least you know that there's an attraction on their part at least. |

Peachy . Yes I agree too . No one like rejection .
I do get mail from men chancing there arm . But allways reply nicely .
Also I'm sure the single gals get swamped by mail . So I allways feel like I'm just another guy annoying them

Just a little point to bear in mind ,I know you explain well in your profile why you're pics are private and I totally get your point having been victim to those pic collectors to but it is off putting bit to have some public pics. They can easily be something that doesn't identify you in any way ie a torso ie shoulder or whatever but I must admit I kinda steer away from someone with only friends or no public pics as you have no idea at all what they are like,and however unpopular the thought is to some there are attributes that attract and those that don't...better to know upfront if someone is a person you may be attracted to, no? I don't know if that's helpful but just an explanation from my personal feelings

Not at all. But I'm only here to chat as I don't meet anymore so sending a message for a chat seems disengenious to what most men think the site is for. I stick to the forums the chatrooms and replying to mail get. |

Yeah, only last week and I fucked it up.
I was heading back into the country and I got a nice mail. After a little Smalltalk I mentioned that I don't normally rush things but I was meeting a Fab fwb for a drink and she was welcome to join us. (Just for a drink)
Scared her off. So if she's reading this I do apologise, the offer was made with good intentions.

Was meeting someone for a drink and Was chatting to a couple ..fem of couple Was saying she hadn't been out In ages so I suggested that her n her partner could join me and my meet, to me it was a friendly polite gesture ..n fair play she took it well, was only when I thought it tru I was like, Cc you dope  |

Yup I've sent first mails to both males, females and couples. If someone grabs my attention why wouldn't I ? Each to their own as to how they use the site but to me you've got nothing to lose by sending a mail to someone you think you might be interested in |

I think it is nice when a woman mails you first or out of the blue especially if you are outside of there age range, not seeking singles or are just in town for the night |

I have but it's never been a serious message looking chat, more a question or opinion about my profile etc. Anyone I've met has always been from my initiative. I think guys have more time to initiate and less intimidated. It's a generalisation but I think lots of women look and don't like if they get turned down, there are those with uber confidence but then they won't have any problem pulling again a few minutes. It's partly to do with numbers on here. |

. Sometimes yes , but your profile has to have sufficient content to generate interest .
The most common topic I get emailed about is holidays in Cap d Agde and advice relating to it . |
