by a lake with my rod out

its going to cause havoc for those already affected by flooding. I wonder what the county councils response will be a lot of the flood plains where built on during the building boom so the planning departments have a lot to answer for.

There is. And as in life, the female of the species is always one to watch out for. Mysterious, unpredictable, fierce, gentle and you just never know how it's going to affect you. It's why we are constantly facinated, said the fly to the spider.

But on a genuine note hope everyone ok - things can be replaced. Nice not seeing so many loose the lives at this time of the year - well any time of the year

Genuine offer if anyone needed help locally feel free to ask

We have had bad weather but this year seems worse than usual. Hopefully will be gone soon.

Thankfully live in a high ground area so never affected by floods. Heart goes out to those who are affected by this.

They are civil servants they answer to nobody and if there is a head to roll due to contractual arrangements they get a fat pay off and a pension and if they really made a pigs ear of it they will be brought back on a consultancy contract
