Personally having been in her situation (had my daughter at 16) if I hadn't had the support of my family I possibly would have done the same. I say good for her. It's her job. She could have gone down the prostitution route. Standing on street corners putting herself in danger. But instead she chose a legal and lucrative career. Her son will be well provided for. I just hope she doesn't end up messing herself up like so many before her.

Fathers have a duty too, why is it all about what a mother had to do to provide?

Involved with the child is a totally separate issue to the obligation of both parties to provide for their dependent.
